Seven International Federation Presidents jostle for three places on ASOIF Council

Seven candidates will seek to secure places on the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations’ (ASOIF) Council when the body hosts its General Assembly at SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit. Three spots on the Council will be on offer at the meeting on May 7 in Gold Coast. A replacement for Switzerland’s Patrick Baumann will be sought, following the former International Basketball Federation (FIBA) secretary general’s death last year.
